Support and/or teach

So there have been a few things that have come up that i may not do or aprove up but people i love have done them. They are things that i just wouldn't have done myself. I'm not saying that my loved ones are evil or bad people. So how do i be supportive without encouraging them to do something that i would agree with? Where is the line drawn btw supporting them even if i don't agree and being mad at their actions? I mean i don't want to be all high and mighty b/c God knows that i'm definitly not, but i also don't want to pretend that it doesn't bother me. But you don't want to get too upset b/c you still want the people to come to you for help and guidence. Why does life have to be confusing and hard?!?! Oh well!
