we blew it

What can i say except we didn't see it coming. As most of you know since you experienced it, on tuesday there was an outbreak of tornados in IL and IN. The unusaul thing about this outbreak was not the size of it, although 51 storm reports of tornados is a large number. The unusual thing about it was that no forcasters saw it happening. The SPC didn't even have an slight risk for severe weather in that region. The models underpredicted the instablity. Quick met lesson for all ya'll. Three things that are required for severe weather: MOISTURE, INSTABLITY AND A SOURCE OF LIFT. The models didn't say that there was a great amount of instability. Forecasters are still scratching their wondering what happened on Tues. Nobody saw this coming, nobody! I guess you just learn from your mistakes and figure out how to not let it happen again. Well, not the weather but better forecasting the weather.





My life in a nutshell: Choosing God over hw does pay off in the end as long as you know that thats what He wants ya to do. And you can't expect God to do all the work, you gotta try too.

So tired...

Man, this cleaning thing really takes all my energy. My dorm room was a mess. So I spent all night cleaning it. When I say all night I really do mean all night. I started at 8 and now am just finishing at 12. Its been a busy first few days of the week. I got my theo paper done. It was actually kind of fun. I got to write my first sermon. I wrote it on how the father's love for his sons made the family a family again. I even moderized the story. I think its good even though I was up last night until like 4ish writing it. It was hard because I couldn't allegorize or use the Old testament. I probably could have gotten away with using Paul's letters but I thought it would be better if I didn't use them. Since most new testament scholars are either the sypnotics (Matthew, mark, Luke, john) or the letters. We shall see what my professor thinks when I get it back.
I can't believe I only have two and half weeks left of classes. I don't wanna leave. But what else is new?
did anyone see those storms yesterday? Crazy! I was at class when the outbreak happened. I missed it all!! :( 51 tornados and only 4 deaths, not bad. But we can beat that! Just remember if you hear the sirens go to your basement. Even if you don't see anything in the sky. These storms move really fast and are unpredictable! Well, I exhausted! Off to bed!

So, This weekend was really good, but now i'm sick from it. I think i lost my glasses so my eyes get real tired. Well, thats all i got. I have a paper due wed for theo talking about the parable of the prodical son. I can't algorize, which means say that the dad represents God and so on. Any thoughts on the parable let me know. it would be greatly aprecaited.
